Working in groups has its advanatges and disadvantages.
I have that we you work with a group, you need to be committed for the animation to be successful, if one lets down the other, the whole groups heads towards the pit at the same time.
Working in groups requires a lot of organization, I have learnt that by setting to myself a deadline, I managed to do everything within the necessary timescale (For instance, when the group was counting on me to make animatic - I decided to set a deadline for each 5 seconds that I had to animate). Also when working with group, helps you feel motivated. Working in groups also has its difficulties, when someone fails to produce what is required to complete the animation, the whole group is let down and there is more work to do for everyone, which slows down the process. It's also hard to work in groups when you have set your mind on an idea and everyone else seems to have their own and absolutely wants to change everything every second, you need to adjust to that in order not to be left behind or drag the group backwards along with you !
But I know that when you work with a group, you learn a lot from each other, new drawing stechniques, new animation techniques...you name it !

Final storyboard Guideline
This is the final storyboard with some guidelines for zoom in, fade out...effects. I thought as a group that it would be good to design a storyboard with guidelines to guide animators and help them make one same flowing animation instead of having an animations with different scenes produced by different animators that are not synchronized at all !
The final concept
The final concept was slightly inspired from the 4th concept - instead of having students nerds in the library, what would be happening is that, a professor would be teaching children about nerdanomylacanatomy and would be eating nerds at the same time, at the end he would end up turning into a nerd - QUOTE _ Warning! May cause nerdiness.
4th Concept - Storyboard
The fourth concept was to use the same idea as the poker one as a starting point. Nerds sweets would be sitting in a circle in a library, during a stormy night and would be revising. One of the nerds would try to read the word nerdanomycalatomy but with not much success. She would start crying out of fustration until her friend offers him Nerds (from the package). She would then try some and would be able to say nerdanomycalanatomy, then they wpuld all throw them in the air, swallowing some and dancing at the same time.
This concept was never finalized because it didn't sound really interested, so instead we came up with one last concept, the final one !

The second Concept
This is for the second idea, it was inspired from Alcapone and his poker parties. The idea is to have the nerds sitting around a table, playing poker in a dark atmosphere. Two of the nerds are different, one is very greedy and dangerous and the other one is the opposite, he is always nervous and scared. The idea is to show that nobody can resist nerds because they look so yummy and are so tasty. So basically they are playing poker, and then one of the nerds wants to eat another nerd, at the end the scared nerd jumps out of the window running away form the greedy nerd and we see the product popping onto teh screen with a quote like "Nerds, if they can't resist themselves, who can resist them ?" or something like that.
This is the idea Storyboard and animatic
Third concept- Storyboard
Here is an animation guide for the animators group, it would help to have directions because if we don't include any, we will end up animating differently (This guide has been created for animators only because the client's storyboard should look just like on the final animatic, without the arrows and all those stuff...)
